Question
Hi Mark, When William of Orange and Mary became King and queen of England which one would have been crowned first?

Answer
Hello Sammy.
They were crowned together in Westminster Abbey on 11 April 1689 by the Bishop of London. He placed the King's Crown on William's head first before crowning Mary shortly after with her own Crown.
However their reign had begun six weeks earlier when they were proclaimed joint sovereigns on 13 February.
