Question
What is a logue/loggia?

Answer
Hi Lsandje,

The two terms are not related.  "Logue" is an Irish surname.  "Loggia" can be found in any dictionary.  (In Google, type "define loggia" and you will find your answer quickly.

"-logue" is also a suffix that has many meanings.  You can find the answer following the same formula in Google, or any dictionary.

How did your question end up with me?  I answer questions about British history, but perhaps the Logue part made the system confused.

Sincerely,
Joseph Logue

Expertise

I am knowledgeable about English history from about 1400 to 1688, and then from the reign of Victoria (after 1837). I have a particular interest in the monarchy and dynastic relations of Europe from 1800 onwards. I cannot answer questions regarding the latter Stuarts, the early Hanovers, and the politics of the 18th century.
