Question
can you also tell moi who was the better king in relations with other countries, money and countrol of his country.

Answer
Hi Toasty,

In my own opinion, I believe that Henry VII was a better king than his son Henry VIII.  In short, H7 united his country (bloodily) after the Wars of the Roses, while H8 did much to divide his country over religion.

That's the short answer, and a less short one would be because H7 did much to fatten the Treasury, establish order, and firmly set the legitamacy of the Tudor claim.  I also think that H8 was a lesser king because as his reign progressed he became less and less rational, while his policies became more and more reflective of a monarch who wished to rule by fiat.  He started out quite well, but the times in which he lived were especially challenging.  I don't think he was up to those challenges as he grew older, and as his personal life unravelled, he became increasingly oblivious to other problems.

H8 was a "better" king in dealing with other countries, but only because H7 was so inward-looking, hoping to secure the throne, and bring about peace to England.  He did not have much time to look beyond his own shores.

I hope that helps.  Thanks for visiting AllExperts.

Sincerely,

Joseph Logue

Expertise

I am knowledgeable about English history from about 1400 to 1688, and then from the reign of Victoria (after 1837). I have a particular interest in the monarchy and dynastic relations of Europe from 1800 onwards. I cannot answer questions regarding the latter Stuarts, the early Hanovers, and the politics of the 18th century.
