Question
why do you think he married Elizabeth of York

Answer
Hello Lillie.
He married Elizabeth of York so as to unite the Houses of Lancaster and York. After the presumed murder of her brothers; King Edward V and Richard Duke of York, Elizabeth was the Yorkist heir to the throne. By marrying her Henry united the two Houses as he was himself the Lancastrian heir. It ensured that any children would be heirs to both Royal Houses.
