how many grandchildren did henry the 7th have ??

Answer
Hi Sian. Thanks for your Question.

Henry VII had four Children three of whom had Children Themselves His four Children were

Prince Arthur
King Henry VIII
Queen Margaret of Scotland.
Princess Mary.

Prince Arthur - No Children

Children of Henry Henry VIII

1) Queen Mary I by his first wife Katherine of Aragon
2) Queen Elizabeth I by his Second wife Anne Boleyn
3) King Edward VI by his third Wife Jane Seymour.

Henrys other three wives produced no Children.
Henry also had numerous mistresses one of whom, Bessie Blount Gave him an illegitimate Child, Henry Fitzroy Duke of Richmond.
In addition Katherine of Aragon gave birth to 4 other children who did not survive more than a few days.

Children of Queen Margaret of Scotland.
1) King James V of Scotland by her first husband King James IV of Scotland.
2) Margaret Douglas by her second husband Archibald Douglas Earl of Angus.

Child of Princess Mary.
Lady Frances Grey Duchess of Suffolk.

In total therefore Henry VII had 7 Grandchildren if you include the illegitimate Henry Fitzroy. + the four short lived children of Katherine of Aragon.

Hope this helps.
