British History/queen mary's pregnancies

Question
i understand she was pregnant twice, but what happened? I never heard of a delivery.

Answer
Hello Cheryl.
I assume you mean Queen Mary I ? She never had any children and it's unlikely she was ever pregnant. She had two phantom pregnancies; in the the first in 1555 she actually had a swelling in the stomach, but it proved to be the first symptoms of the dropsy that killed her. The second in 1558 was entirely in her own imagination.
