Question
I have found an actor sitting in my family tree and am very curious to see if I can get info on a play titled "A Royal Divorce" which played at the Grand Theatre, Southampton in the 1906/1907 season.  My relative's name was W. Graham Woods (or just plain Graham Woods).  If you can point me in the direction of acquiring information on this, I would be most grateful.  Thank you very much.

I DUNNO HOW USEFUL I CAN BE WITH THIS ONE;

FIRST PLACE TO START I WOULD THINK WOULD BE THE THEATRE MUSEUM, THEY ARE BASED AT THE V&A.

HAVE YOU TRIED THE GRAND THEMSELVES? DO THEY HAVE AN ARCHIVIST? MANY OLD ESTABLISHED THEATRES LIKE THAT DO HAVE SOMEONE, USUALLLY A VOLUNTEER, WHO HAS AN INTEREST IN THE THEATRE'S BACKGROUND.

A FINAL OPTION WOULD BE EQUITY'S OFFICE, MOST ACTORS AT THIS TIME WOULD HAVE BEEN MEMBERS OF EQUITY, (BEFORE IT WAS  CLOSED SHOP)

BEST OF LUCK IN YOUR SEARCH
