Brother & Sister Problems/Sisters Drama

Question
Hi!!
I'm the oldest of 4 sisters - I'm 16, one's 14 and 2 twins are 12. I care about my sisters, but I'm just not so 'touchy - feely' as the rest of my family. I hate hugs and kisses, or anything overly emotional. My sisters think that I hate them because of this and as a result, a lot of unnecessary fights have broken out. I just don't like being touched - what's wrong with that?
I'm a quiet person and have trouble communicating with people too. How can I......show them that I care and I'm not all so cold as I perhaps appear?

Answer
You need to do something with them. Like ask them if they want to go see a movie or even just have a girl's night at home and rent a movie and just have fun with each other. I'm exactly like you are and it's not a bad thing. It's just how you are. That will all change later on in life, it usually does. But now you just need to be around them and do things with them. They will know that you at least like being around them and that means you love them and like them. Ask them to do something with you and then see what they say. You can even try to explain how you feel to them and let them know that you like them but you just don't like touching people. Just be yourself. They love you enough to care that you don't do something with them so don't worry. They will understand and they will want to be with you.

I have five brothers and sisters and a few in-laws. I know how frustrating they can be but I also know ways that you can become closer to them. I know that sometimes you want to be an only child but, trust me, your siblings are the best support group you will ever have. Building a relationship with them is very important with them and I would be happy to help in any way that I can. Please include your age with you answer.

Experience

I have a lot of siblings and so do my friends and between us all I've been through almost everything possible.
