Question
QUESTION: I would like to know the names or have a list of spititual paraces like
Tonglen,LovingKindness Meditation so I could start doing personal work.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

ANSWER: Hi Michael,

Thank you for asking me, but I don't understand what you mean by "spititual paraces like Tonglen".  Is it a typing error?

To get started, perhaps the site below will help:

QUESTION: I am sorry it was a typing error I am dyslexic and do this often.
What I wanted to know if there is list of spiritual practices like Tonglen that I can do on my own to develop a new way of being (specific traits) in the world. I know Tonglen specifically helps to develop compassion and lovingkindness. I image there must be other methods or processes that help to develop other specific positive characteristics also.Maybe my question is wrong and Ishould just be reading the fundamentals Buddhism first. Thanks for your interest and help.Michael

May I recommend that you read this book by my late teacher.

"What Buddhist Believe" by Ven. K Sri Dhammananda. This book explains the Buddhist perspective on life's general questions.
Venerable K. Sri Dhammananda was my revered teacher. His writings have benefitted countless people throughout the world. He had recently passed away (18 Mar 1919 -- 31 Aug 2006)

Hope this helps.
