Question
Hi Justin, I have moved to Dubai, and Buddhism starts making sense to me
through martial arts, however I feel like weak in proceeding by myself in this
journey at this begriming stage. The questions is : Is there any Buddhism
groups or association here in Dubai and if you are not aware of, what is the
best way to develope the "buddhsim " by myself ? tks

Answer
Hi Luiz,

Thank you for asking me.

Although some martial arts have some mention of Buddhism, please remember that they have absolutely nothing to do with the teachings of the Buddha.  The Buddha's teachings are about truth and peace.  Martial arts are about physical self-defence.

You can study Buddhism through the internet.  You can start with the "Mother" of all Buddhist web site @ http://www.buddhanet.net/ and go to all the links from there.

A.Z.I. Zen Group - Dubai

Address: P.O. Box 30484
Tradition: Soto Zen (Deshimaru)
Contact: Philippe Founes

Of course, you can still ask me as and when you like.  I am always here waiting to answer your questions.

Take care.
