Question
Hi! I'm very curious to see what Buddhism achieves for its followers, any help answering these questions is greatly appreciated!

As a follower of Buddhism what, if any, daily routines or practices do you take part in?

What is your personal goal for achievement as a follower of Buddhism?

What have you personally gotten out of being a Buddhist?

Thanks a bunch!

-Charlie

Answer
Hi Charlie,

Thank you for asking me.

<<As a follower of Buddhism what, if any, daily routines or practices do you take part in?>>

Buddhism is a very accommodating "religion".  You can do anything you like.  Different people have different inclinations towards chanting, meditation, study, discussion, etc.  As for me, if time permits, I will meditate in the morning and/or evening, and recite some discourses of the Buddha (chanting) in the morning and evening.

<<What is your personal goal for achievement as a follower of Buddhism?>>

To reduce my greed, hatred and delusion(of life).

<<What have you personally gotten out of being a Buddhist?>>

Accepting my faults and try to correct them.

Smile from justinchoo :-)
