Question
I have been practicing meditation and metta from some years and during University I wanted to graduate and then go on to become a monk. But I fell in love and got married to a wonderful wife. My aspiration in becoming a monk is still strong but now that I am married to a non-Buddhist even practice has become hard. My question is, how do I regain balance in my life, and what do I do about my aspiration with regards to becoming a monk?

Answer
Hi Andres,

Thank you for asking, but I have to be honest with you that I cannot provide any viable advice.  You see, this is your life.  You got to take charge.  Furthermore, I don't really know you or your circumstances at all.  Just based on what you wrote, any person who could give you solutions would be too far fetched.  Please be careful if anyone were to give you "excellent answers".  Think deeply.

Just a personal comment. Perhaps time will tell.

Take care.

Regards, justinchoo :-)
