Question
Hi,
I started meditating a month ago to achieve a calm n peacefl mind and nowadays I will always see light. It is like even in a dark room, you will sense the light all around as though someone shone a large torch onto you. Also, I will feel a twitch or pressure against the area between my eyebrow. Any advice on my experience and any technique to futher improve it?
Thanks

Answer
Hi,
This is quite important for me to answer to you as soon as possible. First of all, do not be afraid.  This is just a phenomena of your mind.
Second, I guess that the way you do meditation now is to work with your breathing, is that correct ? I have to ask since in Tipitaka, at least thirty methods are outlined. There are many more ways. Yet, breathing is the most practiced way of doing meditation, even in Thailand.
The phenomena occurs since your mind is calm and anything hidden in your subconsciousness may rise. If you do with breathing method, just ignore the light and keep concentrate on the breathing. Just ignore it and soon the light would disappear.
Between your eyebrow is an important energy point in our body. That sensation, again, is similar to the light.  Just ignore it. It would disappear soon. Concentrate your mind on breathing and you will reach the level of calmness and inside happiness soon. You have come for some distant now.
Good luck.
