Question
greetings,
my name is gayelyn, and desperately trying to overcome this obstacle i am in.  i have studied buddhism for 8 years and need to speak to another.  i am presently allowing my ex-husband, who suffered a traumatic brain injury from drinking, to rent the downstairs apt. from me. i did this because he needed help but now i do it for the rent money.  he has gotten worst and i find i cannot forgive him. i don't know how to help myself or him, and it has become very stressful for my 15 yr. old.  if i put him in assistant living i will lose our house and if i allow him to stay, i will lose my mind-please tell me what the buddha would advise.
thank you

Answer
Hi Gayelyn
Thanks for your question. I am sorry that you are suffering a great obstacle. I feel you need to talk to someone face to face and discuss this  properly. I would suggest a friend, family member you trust, or seeking a counsellor.

Warmest wishes
