Buddhists/Buddha postures

QuestionI have a two part question regarding objects. I received a triangular black amulet from my father. It appears to be a Buddha with face covered with it's hands. ARe you familiar with this amulet? What are the implications of this posture?
Secondly, I recently acquired a Buddha statue. I know Buddha had many postures, but this statue is kneeling with joined palms. I have searched for photos and information on the pose. This statue has long ear lobes, golden skin and wearing a burgundy and dark green robe. Could you please give me more information about this statue?
Thank you and blessings of light upon you,
Liz
Answer1. Yes, I know this posture. The implication is that the Buddha attempts to warn you of five organs that leads to sensual desires. Nose, eyes, ears, mouths, and skin. Face covered with hands means that when you shut off these five organs, you will be less disturbed by what you see, hear, smell, eat, or senses. Then, you will feel more peaceful.
2. I am not sure. Maybe the regular meditating posture of Lord buddha.
