Question
Hi Stuart, What should reality look like? How do I know I am on the right path? I have been meditating many years. It seems to me most people are like zombies and are asleep. They don't think about what they are doing or the consequences of  their behavior before acting and this is causing themselves and others great suffering.

Answer
Open your senses right now. What do you see, what do you hear, what are you doing? When you look at the sky... what? When you look at a tree... what?

THAT'S what reality looks like. It's right in front of you, just now.

It's not always helpful to judge what other people are like. Most important is what YOU'RE like. Perceive this moment with clarity, and respond to it with compassion. That's all; as long as you do your own job, you needn't worry about whether other people are like zombies etc.
