Question
Greetings! I just took my vows and became a Buddhist after years of searching with titles and labels to validate my decisions. Now that I no longer need them, Buddhism and the beauty of the this freedom has returned...rightfully. As I do have alot of questions, I equally believe that they will all be answered in time. One that I have specifically, is: "Is there a "way", "journey" or a "path" to follow to get rid of the reliance of your "old ways" of thinking and doing things? This is the only thing holding me back from true completeness.

Answer
Hi Ameena Ali,

Welcome to the path of contentment and inner peace.  The journey is a life-long one. But you will be rewarded with beautiful scenery and pleasant weather.

I thought you will be asking tons of questions, but ending up with only one question.  That is a good start though, and I sincerely hope that you will continue asking more.  I shall answer all your questions to the best of my knowledge.  So be seeing you often.

Very easy question to answer:  Follow the teachings of the Buddha.

If this is not what you are looking for, please elaborate.  I shall be waiting.

Take care, and be happy.
