Question
I have met a girl who is starting her journey into buddhism, and we have fallen in love with each other.  She is now struggling to cope with both emotions, and it's causing dificulties with our relationship.  Is there a way we can still enjoy each others love and for her to continue with her buddhist learning?

Answer
What does her "struggling to cope" look like? Is she perceiving there to be some conflict or contradiction between Buddhism and your relationship? If so, what is the nature of the conflict?

She probably sees a relationship as an attachment object possibly. Tell her attachment refers to basing your happiness on that thing.
