I am doing a college assignment about different religions and my questions are:
Do Buddhists believe in saying the Pledge of Allegiance?
Do Buddhists support the starting of gay and lesbian support groups?
Are Buddhists against interracial dating?

Answer
Hi Barbara,

I don't know what Pledge of Allegiance is.  But certainly Buddhists don't believe this.

Buddhism is about how to live in peace.  You can have whatever groups you want.

Buddhists are not against interracial dating.  This is more about race and culture.  It has nothing to do with Buddhism.

I was brought up in the 50's as a Buddhist.
