Buddhists - Dream

Question
Hi,
I would like to understand more about a recent dream. I've dreamt of HH Dalai Lama walking into a room I was in. Everyone stood to greet him in a language i'm not aware of, probably tibetan. Is there any message behind this dream? I've heard that this is an auspicious dream.

Answer
Hi Jane,

This site is actually about Buddhism.  Buddhism is about the teachings of the Buddha.  The message of the Buddha is that we can live in peace and contentment if we understand the true nature of this existence.  His message is for us to reduce our greed and hatred and to use our common sense to understand what is good and what is bad. The Buddha did not teach us how to analyze dreams.  The Buddha taught us to analyze our lives.  If we can reduce our greed and hatred, our lives will be more pleasant.

Sorry to be so long-winded.  What I'm trying to say is that Buddhism is not about analyzing dreams.  Buddhism is about living in peace and contentment.

May you have pleasant dreams.

Take care.
