Question Hi,
I’m a french cartoonist and I have a particular question :
I’m looking for the name of an american prisoner (who was put in jail for criminals acts) who has discovered Bouddhism in jail and have become bouddhist himself. He also wrote a novel about his experience. Matthieu Ricard speaks about that in his book “The monk and the philosoph” but the name is not specified.
Do you know that story? The name of that person?
Thanks a lot for your answer.
And I’m sorry for my English.

Answer Hi Fred CAMPOY,
Sorry, I don't know the name of the person. But if you do a Google Search on
"killer prisoner in USA turned Buddhist" you may find on the first page:
the link is :http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-491164/Murderer-Buddhist-wins-right-sharpened-incense-holder-prison-cell.html.
His name is Robert Shreeve.
If he is not the person, perhaps you can continue to scroll down the search.
Good luck, and take care.
Justin Choo
