What is it an ego in simple terms? If I have an ego what do I have, how to define it? Could you give me some examples?
Now, what if I lost my ego? What would I lose then? Could you give me some examples if possible?
Thanks a lot!
Answer Hi Luke,
Suppose you were waiting patiently for the other car to leave the parking lot so you could park. The car came out of it, and just then out of nowhere an inconsiderate driver pulled into the lot. He came out of the car, and stared at you.
What would be your immediate reaction? That is "ego" for you.
"Now, what if I lost my ego? What would I lose then?"
If you have lost your ego, you would smiled back at him, and look for another parking lot, without any recurring thought of what had happened.
I think one example is good enough.
Take care.
Justin Choo
