Buddhists/powers of a lama

Question
Justin, It has been a couple of years since  last wrote. Since ten I have taken refuge in the Nyigma school.
I went to hear a lama. Afterward, as he was leaving, I thanked him for coming.  He looked into my eyes, and all of a sudden, all I was aware of was my eyelids fluttering. Then he patted my hand and continued out of the room.  What happened?  What did he do? I have no condition that would cause such a thing and it hasn't ever happened, either before or since. He is a very high lama, who had been with the Dalai Lama for many years. Please keep this private if you feel it is appropriate.  Thanks, Terry

Answer
Hi Terry,

Welcome back.  Sorry for the late reply.  Somehow I have missed out on your question only to be reminded by the Allexpert administrator.

I am in no position to give you any answer to your experience.  Only a casual comment perhaps.  Just concentrate on the pristine teachings of the Buddha.  Whatever "power" others have is no concern of ours.  It is not beneficial for us to speculate.

Take care.

Justin Choo.
