Question
Hello,

I am hoping you could provide me with some insight to my situation.

I discovered that the man I have been living with for eight years and we have a family together has a secret life. He has been cheating and he met one Thai Buddist at a religious ceremony. My question is, is cheating ok with Buddist, even when there are children involved. Also, after discovering this, or sahll I say, I had concrete evidence of this on Christmas, shortly after, I waited several days for some sort of acknowledgement or sorrow and nothing came. There was no talking about it and I thouht he should at least apologize, I packed his belonging on one of the days he disappeared again and I have not heard from him since. He has not called, emailed or contacted me in anyway too find out if we are ok or if the children need anything (we were not married and I was a stay at home mom due to his insistance). What should I do now ?? Please note I have no outside source of income to survive and we always lived by his mercy and walked on egg shells around him.

Answer
Hi Julia,

"Please note I have no outside source of income to survive and we always lived by his mercy and walked on egg shells around him."
This is very serious, and you need urgent help especially for your children.  I would suggest that you get some "social" help, or help from friends/family/siblings.  I am not familiar with your country's welfare policy but would assume that it is there to assist people like you.

Cheating is not ok, irrespective of what religion you belong to, or even without any religion at all.

Please seek help in your area.

Hope you could visit here again to let me know that you and the children are fine.

Please take care.
