Answer
Hi Milena,

Welcome back.

Thanks for your ratings.  I suppose it is Italian.  I don't know what you wrote, but thanks just the same.

If you study more on Buddhism, you would realize that the Buddha's message is very simple.  If you want to have peace and contentment in life, you need only to do these three things:
1. Reduce greed
2. Reduce hatred
3. Purify your mind, by thinking the right thoughts

Mantras are nothing more than "slogans".  Repeat them continuously, and your mind will be influenced by that slogan.  If you repeat a slogan of goodwill, your mind will tend towards goodwill.  If you repeat a hateful slogan, your mind will become hateful.  You see, it's all in the mind.  There is no "magic" in it, although many would like to claim otherwise.

It is however, believed that if you recite the "homage to the Buddha", evil forces will avoid you.  Likewise, recitation of any holy and wholesome mantra should also have the same effect.

Take care.
