Question
hello my name is Ricky, I was wondering if there is such a
thing as a Buddhist guardian, like some kind of protector over
me. the reason i am asking this is because i feel a great evil
lurks in my presents. I feel in danger and would like to be
protected for it. PS I'm not crazy :)

Answer
Ricky,

Yes, In Buddhism, we have guardians.  However, how the guardians protecting us is not as literally as most people think.  It's not really about the guardians would fight with the evils.  It's rather the protection of your inner self.  It's more about the "inner" part leads to the outer part, meaning mind to physical.  You are protected because of your mind and how your awareness works that trigger the protection from harming you in various ways.  It's a rather complicated matter.
