Hey Hey, We are a young family just wondering why you are Buddhist and why it is the religion for you, we really like it, but just wanted to get a general idea on why it is so great for you! Thank you!

Hi,

Why do you assume that I must have reason(s) to become a Buddhist?  Why do assume that it is so great for me to be a Buddhist?

I was born into a Buddhist family, but it is my choice to learn Buddhism in depth.  I don't feel being great to be a Buddhist.  I just feel it is ideal for me to be a Buddhist as Buddhism encourages me to live a harmless life.

Experience

I was brought up in the 50's as a Buddhist. For the past 40 years I have read numerous books on Buddhism and listened to numerous talks on Buddhism by well-respected and learned monks and lay teachers. I conduct Buddhist classes for parents of Sunday School children in a Theravada Buddhist Temple. My teacher was the late Chief Reverend, The Ven.
