Question
Can I believe in God and Jesus and Buddha at the same time.  Does a Buddhist believe in God and Jesus?

Buddhists will tell you that you have the freedom to believe what you want.  But if you are familiar with both Christianity and Buddhism, then you would realize that it is not compatible or possible to believe both; as many concepts are contrary to both.

Buddhists do not subscribe to the existence of a Supreme God.  
Buddhists subscribe to the teachings of the Buddha which goes back more than 2500 years; which have nothing to do with Jesus. This question is not relevent to Buddhists.

Experience

I was brought up in the 50's as a Buddhist. For the past 40 years I have read numerous books on Buddhism and listened to numerous talks on Buddhism by well-respected and learned monks and lay teachers. I conduct Buddhist classes for parents of Sunday School children in a Theravada Buddhist Temple. My teacher was the late Chief Reverend, The Ven.
