QUESTION: I find this a VERY rude response to my email! WHY is it a 'nonsense' question? Please explain this to me. If the spirit I have was a female in a previous life, why could it not have a female guide this life?

Please don't get me wrong. What I say is that "from the standpoint of Advayavada Buddhism" it is a nonsense question. You are asking me your question in my capacity as a teacher of Advayavada Buddhism and from the standpoint of our school of Buddhism, which does not believe in such things as reincarnation, souls, spirits and so forth, your question really makes no sense at all. This is certainly not personal - you are simply asking the wrong person. Maybe you should have read the teacher's website first so that you know whom you are approaching.
