Question
Why do westerners go to buddhism instead of their beautiful christianity? why so many buddhist in the western world? and why do you think christian monks like zen?

Answer
The meaning of "Zen" is to clearly perceive the truth of this moment, and respond with compassion. The most important thing is what you're doing right now. Don't worry about what anyone else likes or doesn't like. Don't attach to mere words like "zen" and "buddhism" and "beautiful christianity." In this very moment, what do you see, what do you here, what are you doing? That's much more important than words and names.
