Question
my daughter has bought me a large sitting buddha one hand in a praying pose and the other holding some kind of pot, legs are crossed i would love to know the meaning of this please thank you much love katrina

Answer
Hello Katrina,
The pot is probably a begging bowl and, if so, the attribute means that the figure is the symbolic representation of a head monk.
May the figure remind you of your own buddha nature.
Kind regards,
Advayavadananda.
