Question
I am a primary school teacher and coordinate RE. Apart from Wesak in May which celebrates Buddha's actual b'day do buddhists also celebrate Buddha's enlightenment on a specific day?
Hi
According to some Buddhist traditions Wesak is the birthday
of the Buddha and his enlightenment and his parinirvana.
This I guess has an astrological message in it or is a neat trick of holiday management
