Question**How would you summarize the basic concepts of Buddhism?
**What would you say to someone interested in converting to this religion?
**What would you say is the most important thing for a follower of Buddha to remember?
**Can you give me some history on the religion? Where it originated? Where it is predominately practiced now and by whom?
AnswerDear Theresa,
Please note that I speak for Advayavada Buddhism only.
If you want to know more about this form of Buddhism please visit www.advayavada.nl.
My reply to your questions would be
that the basic concepts of Advayavada Buddhism are the Four Signs of Being and the Four Noble Truths;
that Advayavada Buddhism is not a religion but a way of life;
that you yourself must determine what is the most important thing to remember;
and that your last question concerns factual information available in text books and on the internet.
Kind regards,
John Willemsens a.k.a. Advayavadananda.
