Question
Why is there so many types of buddhist teaching? If i want to become a buddhist how should i choose which teaching to follow? Can briefly tell me the difference between the different sects of Buddism such as Theravada Advayavadananda, Zen etc. Lastly, why does Lord Buddha spoke of the existence of God realm when he rejected the idea of God itself? There are many good books available at the Public Library and the bookstores which will give you an informed survey of the different schools of Buddhism. That would i.m.o. be the right place to start. As for Advayavada Buddhism, please visit www.advayavada.nl. If you have any specific questions about the tenets of Advayavada Buddhism, please let me know.
