Question
THERE ARE ACTUALLY A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS:
-What do you think are the most important aspects people have tu understand, in order to accept the Buddhist religion?
-If you would have to decide which religion was the most complete, and the one that could fit the most, would you say it is Christianism, Buddhism or Hinduism?
-Do you find ethical and right to mix religious beliefs in order to find a more personally fitted path?
-What is it about Buddhism that you find unreal, or just not right for this century?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Answer
Hi Silvana,

Thank you for asking me.

The most important aspect of Buddhism is the FREEDOM to decide.  The Buddha specifically reminded his followers not to accept his teachings without analyzing them.  They must be completely satisfied with his teachings before accepting them.  He reminded them to use their common sense and human intelligence to analyze his teachings.  Only if they make sense and are correct, should they be accepted.  The Buddha's teachings are about universal truths which transcend race, nationality, belief, culture, tradition, and even space and time.  In very simple term, his teachings are based on this universal law of cause and effect...bad actions will cause bad results; and good actions will bring benefits.  What or which religion is irrelevent.  It is one's actions that are paramount, and nothing else.  Of course, if one follows the teachings of the Buddha, one benefits from the knowledge of the true nature of life and the world, and will be able to tread the correct path to liberation.

With the above comment, all your questions should be answered already.  If you are still not satisfied, please come back.

Smile from justinchoo :-)
