Question
i wanna ask you about what are the adavantages of Buddhism in Cambodia?(education, infrastructure, tradition, social life)

Answer
Hi Sou,

(Your name sounds Cambodian.)  As you know Buddhism is about mind cultivation and how to reduce our greed, hatred and delusion to live a peaceful and contented life.  But how many Buddhists really practise the teachings of the Buddha?  Buddhism is a very tolerant and accommodating "religion". The followers of the Buddha were never required to change their traditions or social activities.  What you see in various traditions are the differences in the traditional rites and rituals of the different communities; nothing much to do with the teachings of the Buddha.  Buddhism is about universal truths.  In its pristine form, the benefits are universal irrespective of where it is practised, and that is, contentment and peace of mind.
