Question
How did the childhood experiences of Siddhartha Guatama (Buddha) lead to his questioning of the speritual practices of his time?

Answer
I don't think his childhood experience made him question.  Rather, when he was a young prince.  He has met four persons expressing four stages of life: birth, sickness, the elderly, and death.  He then realized that any of this phenomena would come to him sooner or later.  Then, he decide to go for his spiritual adventure.
