Question
I have been learning about the buddhist beliefs and teachings for a while now and am now sure i want to be of the buddhist religion. How should i approach this task to become a buddhist?

Answer
Hi Brian,

Thank you for asking me.

Welcome to the path of inner peace and happiness.  It will be a long but fruitful journey.  First you have to decide which "tradition" you are comfortable with, because different tradition has different rites and rituals.  Then if possible attend the temple activities and get to know more.  In addition, please spend some time surfing through the following sites which will give you all the info you need about Buddhism. I would recommend that you start with this site :
