Question
Since i have to chose which tradition to follow could you please suggest a website/link that has something i can read about the differnt types of buddhism. This way i can choose which would most benifet me. Greatly appreciated.

Hi Adam (Brian),

Please refer to the two sites below.  The first is the "mother" of all Buddhist web sites.  The second is Wikipedia.

I would advise you to physically visit the different temples in order to have a feel of each tradition.  Take your time to be familiar with the different traditions.  In the meantime you can still practise the teachings of the Buddha in your daily life.

I was brought up in the 50's as a Buddhist. For the past 40 years I have read numerous books on Buddhism and listened to numerous talks on Buddhism by well-respected and learned monks and lay teachers. I conduct Buddhist classes for parents of Sunday School children in a Theravada Buddhist Temple. My teacher was the late Chief Reverend, The Ven.
