Who is the statue of buddah resembled after?
Dear Stormy,
There are many different Buddha's depicted in statues and I don't know if you are referring to a specific one. Most are probably made to look like the historical Buddha, SIddhartha, at different stages of his life. Since anyone who becomes awakened is a Buddha there are many different Buddhas and not just one.
