Buddhists - direct path

Expert: John Willemsens aka Advayavadananda - 1/9/2006

Question
-------------------------
Then why not multiply the power to evangelize the Noble Eightfold Path by first attaining enlightenment?

Hello George,
While Zen is self-centered and inward-looking, the purpose of Advayavada Buddhism is to become a true part of the dynamic whole by means of the Noble Eightfold Path.
Kind regards,
Advayavadananda.

Answer
Hello George,
In Advayavada Buddhism the Middle Way (8fold Path) is seen as a way of reconciliation with wondrous overall existence and Nirvana (enlightenment, samadhi) as the ultimate reconciliation with existence achievable by man, in that order.
Kind regards,
Advayavadananda.
