Question
What is the meaning of the pearls that are sometimes clasped by Tibetan Dragons?

Answer
There are conflicting theories as to the origin and meaning of the dragon's pearl and they are inevitably linked to the origin of the dragon itself. One theory depicts the dragon as trying to eat or at least claim the sun, represented by the pearl, finding to its consternation that the sun is too hot even for the mythical fire-breather. I hope this answer your query.
