Question
QUESTION: Hello Bodhicitta!

There is a passage which says: "Regard all that you see, hear, taste, touch, smell, think, feel, value, or believe, as if you were dreaming it."
I guess it means that I live in a dream world? But how is it possible? Could you give me any examples to illustrate it better? For example if I see a chair, am I supposed to think that it is not a chair? If I taste tomatoes, I'm supposed to think that it's not the taste that I experience right now, but something else? How do you understand it? Could you give me some examples?

Thank You

QUESTION: Hi
It's from this site: http://lojongmindtraining.com/sectionSummary.aspx?sectionID=0

thanks

Answer
Thanks Luke
Yes the Lodjong or seven points of mind training contain
many wonderful Buddhist teachings.

This section is an instruction on how to meditate on the
Cittamtra or Mind only view of the world. It is an instruction
for performing a meditation. By doing this you may gain
an insight or experience  in the way the world is.

I would advise you to find a meditation teacher you can
meet to give you a fuller explanation on how to do this
if you are inspired by this.

Like with all Buddhism this should not be confused with
an explanation of how the Universe is. It is an invitation
to try meditation. the only reality is what you then
yourself experience.

The cittamtra schools invite their students to see the world
like a dream and like a rainbow! But these is much more
to it than this.
