Question
What do Buddhists believe as far as home ownership since this is considered to be worldly goods?  Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for college type schools, specifically in Buddhism, Metaphysics or something closely related?

Answer
dear cathy
if you are a monk or nun - you have no possessions.

but for the vast majority of buddhists including myself we live our lives within the world with possessions. the path of buddhism is not about getting rid of possessions,
but about awakening to truth.

so possessions are not a problem. see them as the manifestation of enlightenment in the world!

confusion, clinging and attachment is a problem. but we can do that to our bodies - so selling your house isnt going to help with that one. meditate and follow the dharma and cut through clinging.

As for colleges - im not sure - there are many. depends where you live and what exactly you are looking for. i am reluctant to give general answers. you really need to search and see what connects with your situation
