Question
Ok this is a very practical question regarding brass offering bowls.  I just got the most beautiful little set but after only one use they got rust spots?  I got them "pretty good" with brasso but only just barely saved them it seems like.

Was I supposed to prepare them somehow first?  Wax them?  Oil them?  I don't want my offering bowls all rusty and ugly, I don't think it would be right.  What do you suggest?

Many thanks,
Deedee

Answer
thanks for your question deedee

i wouldnt have thought brass would rust?

one tip is to have a cloth in your shrine room and
each night dry them properly and polish them and then
neatly stack them. all i can say is that seems to work
for me.
