Question
Am i right in thinking that all chinese are Buddhists ? also are in Buddhism, are the women allowed to have sex before marriage ?

Please help

Answer
hi alfie
i usually ask people to say a little about themselves,
where they are and what prompts them to ask the question...

i will say that in china
before the cultural revolution in china many chinese were buddhist. following that there was a period of supression of spirituality in china. there was also the destruction
of many temples and the burning of many relgious books and texts. if you look into Tibet which is now classed as an autonomous region of china there was systematic torture and killing of monks and lamas.

now we are seeing china rediscovering its spiritual heritage. some are moving back to buddhism and other spiritual paths that exist in china.
