Hi there I am not sure if I am in the right question place but will give it a go anyway.  
In a few months I will be going to China to work for a year.  I have never been abroad before and need to find out about travel insurance for that one year but don't know where to start looking.  From internet searches I keep getting annual travel insurance which isn't for the duration of my trip, so need help on finding affordable travel insurance companies which will cover me for the whole year in China.  

Also does anyone know anything about getting really cheap one way flights to China as I keep getting the expensive ones and having just finished University my funds are quite low.  
Therefore any help on travel insurance, cheap one way flights to China and anything on China would be really appreciated.

Hello Desi,

I am not sure I can help you regarding travel insurance, but have you considered getting travel insurance just to cover the flights?  When you are actually in China, you will probably do okay with health and disability insurance for the year, which may be provided by your employer.
