Question
I have seen in one of the responses that you have experimented from ediscountgascrads.com. I have ordered a larger sum few weeks ago from the same site. I was stupid enough not to check blogs before I ordered. I haven't found a positive one yet? I am interested in your experience with their service. Have you received the cards, were there any issues and how long have you waited to receive them? I have been waiting for over 2 weeks now. They are making me nervous!!! :)

Answer
Hi Jasmin:

Yes I did...and then wrote an article for our newsletter readers.

At the outset I DID NOT lose any money. That is the good news. The bad news is:

1) I ordered cards that never arrived.
2) At one point they suspended their site for reasons related to
'alleged' bank problems with their credit card accounting.???
3) When they card they say then sent never arrived they promised to
send me a $100 Visa Gift Card which can be used like cash.
4) Gift card arrived. I had paid $85 and it was the same $100 value as the gas card would have been but could be used at any gas station. Take away some small membership fee and I was still a bit in the black, actually making a few bucks.

That was several years ago. Have no idea what their history has been since. Also recall that no one ever said they were actually scammed by them, so no allegation up to that time for fraud. Weird operation, weird dealing with them, weird communicating with them, JUST PLAIN WEIRD ALL AROUND. I recall telling readers that hey if  you want to experiment then  you are protected from fraud so long as you use a credit card to make the purchase. A woman   contacted me some few months ago, as you are doing, but she used like a money order or bank check so no credit card protection.

Good luck. Hope you used a credit card and do let me know how it turns out. I may write it up in our next issue. Our newsletter is FREE.
