Hello Gary.  Okay, this sounds like the best kept secret ever.  To provide some info:

1) I'm traveling alone.
2) Louisville (KY) to New Orleans and Austin, then back to Louisville -- four day trip
3) Not a student.  Looking into schools in both cities.
4) Vacation/leisure trip.
5) I have a single income (about $45,000)
6) I am a US citizen.  

How do I look into free rent/lodging in New Orleans... or anywhere?  Please let me in on this secret!  Thanks for your expertise.
