Question
What's the most expedient way to search for AA Award Travel tickets, Tulsa to Rome?  How do I find the dates that don't require adtl. mileage, other than trying date after date...?

Answer
Hi LINDA:

AA is our favored program. We have been flying AA free around the globe for years. The very best and easiest way is to simply call the usually awesome agents at:
800 - 882-8880. You may have to endure their menu to reach the foreign desk. For Italy American charges 60K high season, mid may to I think mid September, only 40K low season. We are usually flexible on departure dates so no problems ever. THey often try to move heaven and earth to
get us dates, sometimes using a wait list for award seats to open even if not available when calling. You may ask about that.

Do you know that a Europe award permits you an extra free flight to most any city in Euroope. In April we do Paris and then a free flight to London (prior to Athens) and also another free stop at a US gateway city..Ex. AA free award flight to Paris....weeks later Paris to Athens and then a stop in NY or Orlando before flying home to the SF Bay Area.
You may well be aware of these extra free award flights.

Let me know if you have any follow ups. Good Luck.

Also, free airline ticket deals discussed in our free Spring 2006 newsletter. Some deals have changed. We snagged RT Maui
tickets and RT Paris to Barcelona for $90 each for both sets of tickets each. I believe that US Airways deal is still available.  www.CTNspring2006.blogspot.com
